Things are really starting to take shape for the Powerful Practices conference coming up January 11 & 12, 2018 in Gainesville, Florida. We have been working hard as a team (Jim McKenzie, Steven Levy, Danae LaMoine, Tim Van Soelen, Krista Wallace, and myself) putting the pieces together and I think it will be an outstanding event! This conference is designed for schools interested in, and implementing Deeper Learning principles in Christian education. You can read more about Deeper Learning and the recent history of this movement in Christian schools via a blog post I wrote for CACE recently.
Workshops will be offered for practitioners who may be beginning, intermediate, or advanced in their implementation of Deeper Learning practices. We are currently inviting proposals for workshop presentations and the deadline for submitting a proposal is October 5.
